Brushed Gold Clara Dancer Gift, Gold Ballet Gift, Nutcracker Ballet Decor, Upcycled Unique Gift, Brushed Gold Decor, Clara Decor - On Sale

This Brushed Gold Clara upcycled pointe shoe was inspired by one of the main characters in the classical ballet The Nutcracker, Clara. In the story, she actually kills the mean ole Mouse king that is terrorizing the gingerbread men and her beloved Nutcracker doll that has come to life. The Nutcracker turns into a prince who whisks her away to a magical dessert land where she is honored to be a princess for the night before waking to find that it was all a dream, or was it. The story is set in the Edwardian age in Europe. I tried to keep with the feeling that age. The ivory flower is made from Sola wood and not polyester and can be removed and used as an essential oil diffuser if preferred. The shoe is from a friend that used to dance at the same studio that I did as a child, which means it is over 20 years old. Being gifted these treasures from our childhood is precious. The brand is Freed of England so it is slipper-soft except the paint that now stiffens it a bit because it is a professional grade shoe that is designed only to last a day or two before needing to be replaced. Students typically wear the same pair of shoes, or two pairs of shoes for a few months, so they represent many hours of hard work and dedication to the art of classical ballet. If you have a dancer in your life, I would be delighted to customize one of their own shoes to your specific liking.
